Are you someone who thrives on solving the issues no one else can crack? Our client is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to strengthen their Oslo-based support organisation. This role focuses on complex ERP and accounting systems, where you will serve as the final escalation point for technical challenges that can't be resolved by 1st or 2nd line teams.

Although this is not a development position, you will need the ability to understand code structures (C#, SQL, and similar) to diagnose problems effectively.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for investigating and resolving the most advanced technical cases across the company's ERP and accounting ecosystems. Expect a mix of system analysis, log deep‑dives, cross-team collaboration, and direct engagement with both internal stakeholders and development teams. Your work will be essential to ensuring stability, accuracy, and performance across business‑critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and resolve escalations that require advanced technical insight
* Analyse complex ERP/accounting system behaviour and integrations
* Review and interpret code to pinpoint logical errors or faulty processes
* Partner with developers to progress and close difficult incidents
* Examine application logs and system data to identify root causes
* Strengthen internal documentation and improve support procedures
* Communicate clearly with internal teams and end users throughout the troubleshooting process

Required Background

* Solid experience in senior technical support (3rd line or strong 2nd line)
* Familiarity with ERP, finance, or accounting software
* Ability to read and understand code (C#, SQL, etc.)
* Practical experience with databases, APIs, integrations, and system flows
* Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to complex cases
* Excellent communication skills
* Norwegian fluency, written and spoken

Bonus Skills

* Experience with RAG solutions or AI used in support environments
* Knowledge of intelligent document retrieval or AI-assisted troubleshooting
