Senior Software Engineer - Vejle | Product Tech Platform

We're working with a fast-growing, product-led tech company in Vejle that is building a modern, data-driven platform used across multiple markets. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Senior Tech Lead to play a key role in shaping both their technical direction and engineering culture.

The Role

This is a senior, high-impact position combining technical leadership, architectural ownership, and hands-on development. You'll be a key voice in architecture and design decisions, helping to evolve a scalable, cloud-native platform while mentoring engineers and driving best practices.

You'll join an environment that values shared ownership, autonomy, and continuous improvement, with real influence over how systems are built and teams are structured.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and drive architecture and system design decisions across the platform
* Lead the development of scalable, high-performance solutions
* Act as a senior mentor and technical authority within the team
* Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to shape technical strategy
* Contribute hands-on to development while setting technical direction
* Champion modern engineering practices, including microservices and event-driven architecture
* Support the growth and structuring of a scaling engineering organisation

Tech Environment

* .NET / C#
* AWS and cloud-native services
* Microservices architecture
* Event-driven systems
* MySQL (or similar relational databases)

Nice to have:

* Experience with Vue.js, React Native, or TypeScript

What They're Looking For

* Proven experience in a Senior or Lead-level engineering role
* Strong background in object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and scalable architectures
* Experience owning or influencing architecture and design decisions
* A solution-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability
* Comfortable balancing hands-on coding with strategic leadership
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
