Financial Data Analyst/Accountant | $100K - $110K | Napa, CA (Onsite)

Location: Napa, CA
Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000

A rapidly growing organization in the recycling and environmental services industry is seeking a talented and driven Financial Analyst / Accountant to join its team. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, including a clear path to Controller or CFO-level responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, data analytics, and process improvements, while supporting broader accounting operations across multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial reporting and data analytics initiatives, utilizing Jet Reports and Power BI to deliver critical insights to leadership
*

Support the month-end close process by preparing financial reports and providing actionable analysis
*

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to enable non-accounting stakeholders to easily interpret financial data
*

Assist with core accounting functions, including inter-company transactions, revenue management, and subscription-based business analysis
*

Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across various entities to enhance financial operations and reporting processes
*

Help automate accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
*

Identify and drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency, particularly around D365 Business Central and Multi-Entity Management (MEM)
*

Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's financial roadmap for 2025 and beyond

Qualifications:

*

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA progression a plus)
*

3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role
*

Strong proficiency in Jet Reports and Power BI, with demonstrated ability to build user-friendly reporting tools and dashboards
*

Experience working with D365 Business Central (MEM) and inter-company transactions preferred
*

Skilled in managing and analyzing large datasets and delivering meaningful financial insights
*

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
*

Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
