Solution Architect, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations)

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Solution Architect specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to play a critical role in a major business transformation programme.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of business and IT, supporting the transition from an existing systems landscape to a future-state architecture. The successful candidate will provide a holistic architectural vision, ensuring that both functional and technical components align to deliver measurable business value.

As part of a large-scale ERP transformation, the Solution Architect will be instrumental in defining and implementing a global template, shaping future processes, and driving standardisation across markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a key contributor within a large-scale ERP transformation programme
* Lead complex solution discussions, facilitating alignment across business and IT stakeholders
* Develop and own solution roadmaps at both operational and strategic levels
* Shape the existing application landscape to align with Dynamics 365 capabilities and emerging technologies
* Define and maintain architecture standards, governance, and documentation
* Conduct cross-functional analysis to optimise end-to-end processes across modules
* Provide strategic solution recommendations to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership
* Work collaboratively within a hybrid, international team environment

Location

This role is based in Stockholm (central), operating within a hybrid working model.

Candidate Profile

The client is looking for a confident and experienced architectural leader with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences and demonstrate a proactive, value-driven mindset.

Required Experience & Skills

* Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (both functional and technical)
* Proven track record in end-to-end ERP implementations, from initial design through to go-live
* Experience working on large-scale transformation or implementation programmes
* Strong understanding of wholesale and distribution business processes
* Ability to act as a bridge between business and IT functions
* Solid understanding of end-to-end value chains, including reporting and analytics
* Excellent documentation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Fluent in English

Key Expertise Areas

Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

* Strong hands-on experience with D365 F&O
* Proven ability to design and own solutions end-to-end
* Experience delivering global templates and multi-country rollouts
* Ability to oversee and guide delivery teams across configuration and development

Supply Chain & Operations (Highly Desirable)

* Deep expertise in Supply Chain Management (primary focus area)
* Strong knowledge of procurement, warehousing, and logistics processes
* Experience with master data management in complex, multi-site environments
* Understanding of both B2B and B2C retail operations

Finance

* Solid understanding of finance processes within D365 F&O
* Broader functional coverage across both Finance and Supply Chain is advantageous

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

* Ability to translate technical decisions into business language
* Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple regions
* Strong advisory mindset with a focus on decision-making and strategy rather than purely hands-on delivery
* Additional languages (e.g. Swedish) considered beneficial
