Role Overview
A well‑established Microsoft Partner is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Dynamics‑based ERP and CRM solutions. The role focuses on promoting the organisation's services, developing new business, and managing multiple sales campaigns aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and progress new business opportunities, working independently while coordinating with teams supporting demos, proposals, events, and webinars.
* Lead cross‑functional bid teams to deliver high‑quality written submissions for formal procurement processes.
* Maintain accurate and detailed customer information in Dynamics 365, using it to track engagement, monitor progress, and manage a strong pipeline across Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP and Power Platform prospects.
* Identify, nurture, and advance potential clients, working closely with marketing to align outreach and targeted campaigns.
* Communicate confidently with stakeholders at all organisational levels, including senior leadership.
Skills and Experience
* Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, guiding opportunities from first contact through to close while collaborating effectively with technical, marketing, and operational teams.
* Strong experience using enterprise CRM systems to track interactions, maintain accurate records, analyse trends, and manage a varied pipeline across cloud, CRM, ERP, and data‑focused solutions.
* Confident communicator capable of building rapport and influencing decision‑makers at all levels, adapting messaging to suit different audiences.
* Experience leading cross‑departmental bid activity, producing compelling written submissions, and meeting the standards required for formal evaluation processes.
* Solid understanding of cloud technologies and the Microsoft ecosystem, with the ability to work effectively with technology partners, contribute to thought‑leadership, and translate market insights into actionable sales activity.
