Our client is a Business Central-focused software consulting firm expanding its technical delivery team. They are seeking a Senior BC Developer who can serve as a technical lead across multiple client engagements. You will own AL extension development, perform code reviews, guide architectural decisions, and mentor a distributed team of developers both in the US and Europe. As the practice grows, you will also contribute to hiring, onboarding, and shaping development standards.

This position is ideal for an experienced BC developer who wants to continue coding while gradually moving into a leadership/managerial path within the consulting ecosystem.

What You'll Do (Tailored to a Consulting Environment)

* Lead the design and development of Business Central AL extensions across multiple client projects
* Serve as a technical advisor to project managers, functional consultants, and clients during solution design
* Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high‑quality technical delivery
* Mentor and provide day‑to‑day guidance to developers in the US and Europe
* Participate in solution architecture discussions, integration design, and performance optimization
* Support pre‑sales efforts by estimating development effort and providing technical insight
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve client‑reported issues across Business Central and related integrations
* Create documentation for customizations, integrations, and development standards
* Contribute to internal IP, accelerators, and reusable code libraries inside the firm
* Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new development team members
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with the ERP Team Lead, Program Manager, and functional consulting teams
* Travel occasionally to client sites (<10%)

What You'll Need

* 3-5+ years of hands-on AL extension development in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
* Experience in a Microsoft Partner or consulting environment strongly preferred
* Microsoft full‑stack dev experience (C#, .NET, Azure) is a major plus
* Power Platform skills (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) highly valued
* Strong experience supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, and improving processes
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical work into business language
* Valid passport and ability to travel occasionally (<10%)
