Data Platform Manager/ Architect

My client, an enterprise with business across APAC region, is now hiring a Data Platform Manager/ Architect to join and lead the internal dynamic team, drive the continuous development and operational excellence of the data PPatform, champions data analytics initiatives and data products development, and ensure that data-driven insights translate into measurable strategic business value.

What You'll Do

* Own the end-to-end design and evolution of the enterprise data platform, aligning business needs with security and regulatory requirements.
* Lead the development and operation of scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
* Design and govern data models and integrations that enable analytics, AI, and machine learning use cases.
* Establish strong data governance practices, including data quality monitoring, metadata, lineage, and privacy-by-design.
* Partner closely with business, analytics, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
* Conduct architectural reviews to ensure solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards.
* Drive cloud-native adoption, automation, and DevOps practices; lead proof-of-concepts and production rollouts.
* Lead incident response and root cause analysis to ensure platform reliability and resilience.
* Monitor platform performance and costs, and recommend optimizations to leadership.
* Promote best practices through documentation, onboarding, and team enablement.

What You'll Bring

* 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and enterprise data platforms in cloud environments.
* Strong background designing scalable, secure, and cloud-native data architectures.
* Advanced skills in data modeling, data integration, and platforms supporting analytics and AI/ML workloads.
* Hands-on experience with real-time and streaming technologies
* Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Gen2.
* Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments with cross-functional teams.
* Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills for complex data systems.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Fluent in English; Mandarin
