BI & Data Manager

My client, a key player in retail industry with business across APAC region, is now looking for a BI & Data Manager to join their internal dynamic team that empowers data-driven decision-making.

Responsibility:

* Lead a small team to manage end-to-end Data and BI initiative and delivery
* Drive data architecture strategy, including Azure Fabric and Power BI integration.
* Oversee the design and optimization of ETL pipelines, data models, and reporting layers to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement and enforce data quality, lineage, and governance standards.
* Lead end-to-end project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery against business objectives.
* Serve as the key liaison between business sponsors, technical teams, and external vendors.



Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
* Proven track record in managing data warehouse or BI initiatives, preferably in Power BI in Azure environments.
* Proficiency in MS SQL, SSIS, Azure Fabric, and cloud-based infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling (Star Schema), and BI/reporting solutions
* Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination capabilities.
* PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
* Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
