About the Role

We are a growing manufacturing organization seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of IT & ERP to own and evolve our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, with direct influence on operational efficiency, financial performance, and long-term ERP strategy.

The ideal candidate brings deep Business Central leadership experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to partner across the business while managing vendors and driving measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Own the overall IT and ERP strategy, with Business Central as the core enterprise system

Lead and oversee Business Central implementations, upgrades, and optimizations
*

Act as a trusted liaison between Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership
*

Manage and hold accountability for ERP and IT vendors, system integrators, and technology partners
*

Translate business and financial requirements into scalable ERP and reporting solutions
*

Drive system decisions that have direct impact on P&L performance, cost control, and operational efficiency
*

Establish governance, best practices, and long-term ERP roadmap
*

Provide leadership and mentorship to internal IT and ERP resources
*

Support reporting and analytics initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to improve data visibility and decision-making

Required Qualifications

*

10+ years of experience working within a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment
*

Proven experience leading Business Central implementations for an end user or organization
*

Strong financial acumen with an understanding of accounting, budgeting, and business drivers
*

Demonstrated ability to influence P&L outcomes through technology and process improvements
*

Experience managing vendors, consultants, and system integrators
*

Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
*

Strong leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience in a manufacturing environment
*

Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and analytics
*

Experience supporting multi-site or growing organizations
*

Microsoft Dynamics or ERP-related certifications
