Senior Data Architect Manager

Take the lead on meaningful, high-impact projects as a Data Architect Manager.

We are seeking a Senior Manager - Data Architecture to join a globally recognised consulting firm's Technology & Transformation practice, specifically focusing on the Investment Management and Wealth sectors. This permanent position is designed for an experienced data leader who is passionate about modern data architecture and transforming data strategies into actionable business solutions. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with potential locations in London or Edinburgh, and will play a pivotal role in driving large-scale transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide data strategies and architecture for complex investment and wealth clients.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary teams to deliver current-state assessments, target architectures, and transformation road maps.
- Evaluate existing data environments, identify areas for improvement, and design scalable solutions.
- Drive comprehensive data transformation initiatives from strategy formulation through execution.
- Conduct client workshops to gather requirements, define data models, and establish architectural principles.

Required Experience:

- Expertise in data architecture and solution design within consulting or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical), data quality, and analytics.
- Proven experience in establishing data standards, taxonomies, and consistent data frameworks across organisations.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams and mentoring junior talent.
- Deep understanding of the Investment Management and/or Wealth sector, including asset and wealth management products, risk management, and market data.
