Data Architect (Contract)

Location: Warwick (2 days onsite per week)
Day Rate: £500-£600 (Inside IR35)
Clearance: BPSS Cleareable
Duration: 6-month rolling contract

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. You will define architecture standards, optimise data flows, and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week onsite in Warwick.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and maintain data architecture principles and standards
* Design data models and integration patterns across Azure and Snowflake
* Oversee ETL/ELT processes and ensure data quality and governance
* Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust data pipelines
* Provide guidance on monitoring and performance optimisation

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Data Architect in enterprise environments
* Strong understanding of modern data platforms and cloud architecture
* Hands-on experience with Azure and Snowflake
* Familiarity with data governance and security standards
* Eligible for BPSS clearance
