Senior .NET Software Engineer - Stockholm (Fintech)

Our client is an exciting, forward-thinking business within the world of financial services, having expanded across Europe from their roots in Scandinavia since their founding over 15 years ago. The business began by providing analysis-driven financial advice to a wide range of customers, starting with a single business area in Life & Pensions, before expanding into several other business areas as the company has expanded its network and reach into fields such as insurance, pensions, wealth management, HR and payroll. Our client's workforce includes over 3,000 employees operating across Northern Europe and Spain. With their IT Department centralised in Stockholm, their aim is to expand further across Europe and beyond, with plans already in place to expand into other continents.

Their product allows for any customer, whether personal or corporate, to seek industry-leading, analysis-driven advice on subjects from pension solutions to insurance providers. Their three-point grading scale allows for customers to easily interpret the advice they are given, helping them attain a 95% customer recommendation rate. The same leadership team has run since the company's inception, meaning that the company retains its autonomy and start-up feel despite having grown into a financial powerhouse. Employees are given trust from their first day, with an emphasis on employee freedom and a distinct lack of micro-management! This culture runs from top to bottom throughout the company, fed by the CEO and founder and manifesting at every level of the business.

You'll be working on the development of our client's .NET systems with a focus on the consistent improvement of their operations, so a passion for working with Fintech would be advantageous. Employees are split into two teams - core and edge, both with a heavy focus on green field development. Core teams work on improving the central function of the product, while edge teams work on developing new features, with some maintenance of existing systems. Given that the core focus of development in both teams is in the .NET field, moving between teams is encouraged in order to facilitate meeting with different employees and sharing knowledge and expertise.

You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of .NET development, along with experience in .NET core and C#. Prior work on front-end features such as Angular or React is preferable, while experience with Azure would also be beneficial to your application. Candidates will also be required to complete a short test as part of their application. Alongside the salary, a wealth of benefits are provided including a 10% pension, wellness allowance, training, insurance, flexible working hours, and 30 days holiday.

Lead .NET Developer - FoodTech - Malmo

    Malm, Sweden

      Salario: registrarse para desbloquear
    • Developer/Programmer Puesto
    • Seniority: Senior

    Descripción del puesto

Nigel Frank are an international agency that has grown to be one of the most-trusted tech recruitment partners to a wide range of businesses across Sweden. To learn more about this opportunity, reach out to Ed Clark on LinkedIn who is responsible for this advert. You can also reach him at e.clark@nigelfrank.com.

    The Company:

I've recently begun working on a new position in a food technology company who are looking for senior .NET developers. Our client build systems to create meal organisations for outfits such as kitchens, restaurants or food wholesalers based on what is healthiest, most efficient and has the least impact on the environment.

The food services industry is going through a period of change thanks to an increased demand for catering to an array of dietary requirements, a diverse range of organisations with varying supply needs, and the need to adhere to environmental targets - all while remaining profitable. This is all quantified with in-depth data - our client's platform uses this data to help food service companies create the most efficient food plans, tailored to their customers' specific requirements.

They currently lead their market in the Nordics and are looking to expand into Europe following recent sizeable investment and market success, and are looking to their new hire to play a major role in what will become a world-class Research and Development department in the near future.

    The Role:

You'd be the closest team member to the architect, and as such would be given great sway over planning and architectural decisions. You'd help to build enterprise-level software with complex C#-based solutions, with new features and functionalities being developed from scratch. Our client are planning to complete all their migrations this year, including migrations to .NETCore, Microservices, Azure and React, which you would be involved with alongside the integration of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into their products in the near future. You'd also be tasked with mentoring responsibilities to younger, less experienced developers.

To be considered for this role you must have good experience in development with .NET, as well as prior work with MS Azure and React. Experience building microservices would strengthen an application as well as contribution towards building SaaS-solutions. Collaboration and teamwork will be an important aspect of your new role as you will be a part of team discussions from day 1, while a desire to code to the highest standard is important.

To apply for this position, send your CV via this portal or email it to e.clark@nigelfrank.com Alternatively, you can reach out to Ed Clark on LinkedIn to learn more regarding this position or others which are available at Nigel Frank.

    The Company:

I have recently begun working with a forward-thinking company based in Gothenburg who are looking for .NET developers to help expand their development team. They are able to leverage their considerable reputation to cherry-pick the assignments that they feel would best suit their employees, as well as according to the amount of positive impact their work will have on the world. They are able to quantify this for each assignment using their scale, the Better World index (BWi) to ensure that their work falls in line with their company values and is genuine work towards a more sustainable world.

Guided and inspired by the UN's Agenda 2030 goals for sustainability, our client focus on assignments around health and wellbeing, innovations and infrastructure, and sustainable industry, consumption and production. As well as their selecting assignments according to the positive impact they can have on the world our client pick out the most technologically exciting projects, giving their consultants not only a fantastic range of opportunities to work on, but the ability to choose.

The company has over 30 years' experience working with technologically advanced customers and as such is a well-established, widely-respected institution within their target industries. This gives them access to the wide-ranging choice of projects and assignments that has enabled them to position themselves as the sustainable tech consultancy of choice. Their customers range in size from startups to globally recognized brands, and many of the partnerships between our client and their customers are long-lasting, pointing to our client's track record of delivering on the projects they are awarded.

    The Role:

This is an opportunity for developers with a passion for trying out new technologies as our client do not pigeon-hole consultants into assignments with certain technologies. Your personal development will be supplemented by opportunities to go on courses, training and more - our client has a huge budget for this.
