    The Role

    As a Development Lead, you will step into a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for a senior developer ready to take the next step in their career.     Key Responsibilities

    Key Experience

    * Previous experience in a Data Engineer, ETL Developer or similar role.
    * Strong SQL skills, ideally within Azure SQL or SQL Server environments.
    * Experience building, maintaining and optimising data pipelines.
    * Knowledge of ETL/ELT development and data integration.
    * Python scripting for automation, transformation and data engineering tasks.
    * Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
    * Understanding of data warehousing and data modelling principles, including dimensional modelling.
    * Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
    * Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
    * Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders.
    * Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working within a small, collaborative team environment.
