    Nigel Frank International, has been retained by a leading manufacturing business in the Dartford area to assist with their search for a Management Accountant. My client are looking for someone that can work alongside their finance team to effectively manage the accounting for the entities within the group providing sound financial advice.

    My client have recently implemented D365, so candidates that have worked with this ERP or others are highly desirable. You will help manage the accounts assistant within the team. This role has been earmarked to progress through the business into Financial management and it would be suited to someone that is an experienced management accountant with SME experience that wants to work in a rewarding and supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Provide and interpret financial information; prepare the monthly Management Accounts for the month end

    -Prepare year end schedules for the audit and be one of the lead contacts for the audit field team

    -Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT submissions for the UK and Ireland. Ensure compliance with tax legislation, including timely reporting and payment submissions to HMRC

    -Responsible for the all accounting of distribution business in close cooperation with global team.

    -Oversee the businesses internal control system. Review regularly and improve as and when required

    Required Skills:

    -Experience of working in a Management Accounting role within a Finance Department of corporate or larger SME

    -Previously supervised junior members of team

    -Excellent communication skills

    -Ability to prepare management and statutory accounts

    -MS Dynamics 365 or ERP experience desirable

    -Advanced Excel skills, advanced skills using various accounting software / ERP systems

    What You'll Need:

    * 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance related roles, including team leadership experience
    * Well-rounded knowledge of GAAP processes
    * Manufacturing industry experience is a must, with the experience handling inventory and cost accounting
    * Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience (ie. Great Plains, Navision, Business Central, D365)
    * Experience developing reports, including Power BI, SQL, or Advanced Excel reporting knowledge is preferred
    * Excellent communication skills
    * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

    In this role, you will be taking ownership of the D365FO system, and provide expert guidance and support for implementing and optimising the application. As the main point of contact, you will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that financial processes are aligned with D365FO capabilities and requirements, driving business efficiency and success.

    * Experience designing and implementing customisation's, integration's, and new functionality within the Dynamics 365 Finance environment.
    * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, change managers, external partners, and suppliers.
    * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial processes.
    * Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver training and support.

    Desirable Skills:

    * Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or related areas.
