    Data Engineer

    Our client is a small and family-run MS Gold Partner consultancy, working with large clients across the UK, primarily on Azure and Power BI-based projects. As they're rapidly growing and winning more projects, they are looking to add Azure BI Developers/ Data Engineers to their friendly and collaborative team.

    You will be a passionate BI Developer/ Data Engineer with strong data warehousing and MS BI Stack experience and some recent experience with Azure data platform technologies. This role is focused on more of the actual development work rather than being involved in the client-facing work. However, if you wanted you could also get involved in the client-facing work.

    As a flexible Team Leader, you will lead a team of experienced cloud engineers within our Centre of Excellence function in ANS. Alongside looking after and line managing the team, the role includes ensuring the team meets its SLAs, KPIs customer NPS and acting as a technical escalation point for the wider team/business.



    To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

    * Day-to-day management of the data CoE team, including line management of direct reports, Team PDPs, 121s, mentoring and training teammates
    * Work with ANS Professional Service Teams to ensure a smooth transition from Project to Service and collaborate with cloud architects on estimations
    * Deal with customer escalation management, backlog management and squad status reporting
