Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled data professional to design and develop usage analytics solutions across Microsoft Viva modules-Connections, Engage, Insights, Learning, Goals, and Topics. This contract role is fully remote and offers an exciting opportunity to shape how employee engagement and productivity are measured across a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement analytics solutions to track usage across all Microsoft Viva modules.
* Integrate data from Microsoft Graph, Viva Insights, and Microsoft 365 usage reports.
* Build interactive dashboards in Power BI for executive and functional reporting.
* Automate data extraction and transformation using Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
* Define key metrics and KPIs for employee engagement, learning, productivity, and goal alignment.
* Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organisational and privacy standards.

Required Skills & Experience

* Proven experience with Microsoft Viva, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft 365 data sources.
* Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and data modelling.
* Experience with data pipeline automation tools such as Power Automate and Azure Data Factory.
* Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Contract Role: Data Engineer - Azure Migration Project

A well-established business in Brentford is seeking an experienced BI Developer to join their BI & Data Team as they embark on a major transformation journey, moving from legacy systems towards a modern Microsoft ecosystem built on Azure and Fabric.

The team operates mostly remotely, with office collaboration up to once per week alongside the wider BI & Data team and other business stakeholders.

This is a pivotal role where you'll take ownership of the migration, design the architecture, and ensure the new set-up supports analytics, forecasting, and AI enablement.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Designing and delivering scalable BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric
* Building and managing data pipelines with OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, and Data Factory
