    They specialise in providing training and educational services to a number of their customers and ultimately, enabling them to be the most successful that they can be.

    As part of this company, you will be working in the Data Team that sits within the groups Central Support Unit. You will be involved and working with in all things Data platform related which supports the Power BI Engineer. This involves working with C suite and the wider business to build DWH solutions but also bring out the best of their data using new and emerging tech such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data stack and plenty more!

    This is a salaried position paying up to £70k. Whilst this is a FT contract that will be until the end of 2025, my clients intention is to turn this into a permanent position imminently.     I am working with a leading financial services organisation who are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join their analytics function. In this role you will take responsibility for global reporting across various different business units and ensure stakeholders have the information they need to make data driven decisions.

    The organisation have invested heavily in its data platform which is hosted in Azure and you will have the opportunity to work with the Azure tech stack to further supplement your reporting expertise. You will work as part of a collaborative team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Data Scientists to enable to organisation to become truly data driven!



    As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

    * Create custom visualisations using Power BI to deliver data to multiple business units
    * Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders, translating into technical requirements before briefing the wider team
    * Extract raw data from various data points before transforming ready for visualisations using both SQL and DAX



    This is a salaried role paying up to £65,000 per year depending on experience.
