I am looking for a Data Engineer to join an exciting Client of mine. You will be there to support the Data Engineering Manager in migrating their on-premise data warehouse to a cloud platform, ensuring the highest development standards are established across the end to end environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build data pipelines using Azure data factory for data ingestion.

  • Facilitate data integration, data conformity, data integrity and ensure data structures are designed for flexibility to support future business needs and enhancements.

  • Ensure that data transformations are well documented and follow best practices and are understood by developers and analysts'

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong technical expertise using SQL Server (SSIS, SSMS)

  • Experience delivering a data warehouse solution

  • A strong understanding of SQL Azure principals (Azure Data Factory, Synapse)

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies

  • Python experience desirable

  • Good knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or other tools for CI/CD

Infrastructure Engineer - London Hybrid - Up to £65,000

Job Description

My clients are one of the world's leading post-production providers and are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team as they continue to grow and take on bigger projects.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and must be a good communicator. He/she will take a structured approach to collaborate, organise, maintain and oversee key elements of their infrastructure to ensure stable operation and growth. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting and optimising key functional areas (Network Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, Storage, Data Communications, Backup Strategies, Disaster Recovery and Telecom systems).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the network infrastructure

  • Responsible for the mixed server estate - roughly 100 Windows Server VMs 20 Linux Server VMs

  • Responsible for the Nutanix virtual environment - training will be offered

  • Participate in IT strategic planning activities that reflect the vision of the Company

  • Research and recommend solutions that circumvent potential technical issues

  • Provide high levels of customer service, 3rd line support experience would be an advantage

  • Collaborate with the IT Support team and other internal departments to carry out infrastructure improvements & changes and to troubleshoot any issues

  • Architect, execute, test and deliver innovative solutions, keeping up with our evolving industry and ensuring we're ahead of the curve

  • Contribute to deployment of systems and network integration as required

  • Continuously improve and optimise aspects of the IT infrastructure and security operations including development or related IT security policies and other relevant processes and standards

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of networking disciplines including IP routing, VPNs and VLANs

  • Strong working knowledge of Virtualization, VMware (circa 15 hosts), oVirt/KVM (circa 5 hosts)

  • Experience of Linux to support a growing open source environment including homegrown video streamingbased on LAMP, Tomcat and Nimble

  • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and security protocols

  • Key infrastructure services including AD, DNS, DHCP

  • Configuration management through Ansible or similar

  • Good working knowledge of AWS and Azure including AAD, another area of growth in our business

  • Confident in managing multiple projects at any one time

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Comfortable working in an environment of rapid growth, constant change and some unknowns

I am working with an End User who are looking for a CRM QA Engineer who has experience with MS Dynamics 365 CE / CRM. They require the candidate to have strong experience with automation testing for this role.

The CRM QA Engineer will be responsible to carry out end to end testing activities across projects and teams to ensure that the software delivered is of the highest quality.

To be successful in the role you will be expected to:
* Be self-managed, independently plan, design, and execute tests
* Participate in daily standups, provide on time updates, raise issues and let team know about any blockers
* Work closely with product owners and business analysts in defining acceptance criteria, estimating the testing effort, supporting user acceptance tests, and ensuring on-time closure of defects
* Have good analytical skills - ability to identify missing requirements and drive discussions around testing need with product owners and business users
* Work with developers, infrastructure team and other fellow QA members to prepare test environment and test data
* Define test cases, against business requirements - using relevant test design techniques

Required Experience:
* Experience in designing, planning, and execution of testing automation activities for web applications
* Experience of automation testing Dynamics CRM / 365 CE
* Experience in working with Agile development methodologies
* Familiar with using UI tools like Selenium, can run tests using Azure DevOps

Job Description

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will work within a designated project team using established technologies there to aid and support the successful migrations of our Private Cloud customers over to the new flagship Enterprise Cloud service.

Job Description

We are seeking an Azure and On-premise Infrastructure engineer to join our IT Team. This candidate will work in a team environment on a major transformation and cloud migration project and provide expertise in the areas of on premise and cloud based networking and infrastructure, cybersecurity and access management.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and must be a good communicator. He/she will take a structured approach to project delivery and work to clear timelines with the provision of appropriate levels of documentation. There must be a clear understanding of management of IT risk and single points of failure and design and implementation must achieve the required standards without loss of service during the transition.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Setup Active Directory, Group policy and integration with Azure using AD Connect.

  • Implement single sign on Identity and access management solution with MFA for employees, partners and customers.

  • Design and implementation of cloud based WAN with high performance fault tolerant linkages to on premise systems and customer sites.

  • Design and implementation of Azure cloud environment for development and production systems including VNET setup, VPN connectivity, Azure backup and site-recovery.

  • Design and upgrade of infrastructure components to remediate risks, single points of failure migration to the cloud and achievement of IS027001 standard.

  • Implementation and management of cloud based services such as event hubs, notification systems, alarm systems etc.

  • Implementation of cybersecurity tools, processes and metrics to protect networks, clients, servers and data on prem and in the cloud.

  • Systems administration, maintenance, and management of on prem company networks and infrastructure

  • Responsible for management of IT monitoring systems and identify the appropriate resolution in the event of an incident

  • Investigation and Diagnosis - establish failing component, confirm impact, identify any events that may have been a contributing factor

  • Working with external stakeholders and outsource service providers on the delivery of infrastructure services and solutions.

  • Act as a mentor to other team members, i.e. coaching in the delivery of projects, tasks and/or troubleshooting exercises

  • Produce high-quality documentation to support workarounds and/or resolutions to assist in knowledge transfer and efficiencies

  • Contribute ideas to help ensure that required standards and processes are in place and actively look for opportunities to enhance and innovate solutions and improve process efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver fault tolerant, scalable, cloud based infrastructure.

  • Expert knowledge of Unix, Linux, Office 365, and large scale Windows environments

  • Web Server and SQL administration experience (IIS preferred).

  • Certifications as well as 3 years hands on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services design, migration, deployment, management, security and audit as well

  • Maintaining applications running in on premise data centers and cloud environments

  • Strong scripting experience (preferably Powershell, but other scripting languages also considered).

  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load-balancing, SMTP, VPN, Firewalls, IPS devices

  • Demonstrated knowledge of implementing Identity and access management systems, in particular Active Directory, group policies, single sign on and multifactor authentication.

  • Proven track record and qualifications in the implementation of IT standards preferably ITIL or ISO27001.
