.NET Back End Developer

Job Description

A fast-growing and creative gaming studio is seeking a Senior .NET Backend Developer to join their Stockholm-based team. The company builds high-performance interactive games distributed globally through major partners, and offers a hybrid work setup in a friendly, collaborative environment.

As a backend developer, you will take full ownership of building and releasing logic-heavy game servers. You'll work closely with designers, mathematicians, and client developers to ensure performance, reliability, and smooth delivery across product cycles. Roles and Responsibilities

Design and develop backend game servers using .NET

Analyse and clarify game mechanic requirements with internal teams

Estimate, plan, and deliver backend game functionality

Collaborate closely with designers, client developers, and mathematicians
*

Maintain and improve a shared library of backend components
*

Ensure high-quality releases through testing and verification
*

Contribute to improving internal tooling and automation

Skills and Qualifications

*

5+ years of hands-on backend development experience with C# / .NET
*

Strong mathematical and analytical ability
*

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
*

Experience working on backend systems in product-based teams
*

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
*

Based in or able to commute to Stockholm (hybrid role)
