D365 Business Central Administrator

Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive D365 Business Central (BC) Administrator to support the implementation of BC and maintain the platform post-go‑live. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business process understanding, and strong communication skills to ensure the success and continuous improvement of our Business Central environment.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Project Support

*

Partner with the implementation firm to support the ERP project, including participating in project meetings, documenting requirements, and helping drive project timelines.
*

Assist in configuring and customizing Business Central to meet departmental and organizational needs.
*

Write, test, and validate system modifications and enhancements.

Training & Enablement

*

Work closely with business departments to train users on BC functionality, processes, and best practices.
*

Develop training materials including documentation, knowledge articles, and instructional videos.

Platform Administration & Support

*

Provide ongoing technical and functional support post-go-live.
*

Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
*

Maintain system data integrity, configuration standards, and overall platform health.

Required Skills & Qualifications

*

Strong understanding of D365 Business Central architecture, data models, and integration capabilities.
*

Demonstrated ability to configure, customize, and support Business Central environments.
*

Excellent problem‑solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead training sessions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

*

Experience building reports using Business Central reports, Power BI, or Cosmos.
*

Understanding of financial management processes (AP, AR, GL, budgeting, invoicing, etc.).
*

Familiarity with AL development for Business Central extensions.
