Platform Engineer - Sandvika (English-speaking)

About the Role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join a growing team in Sandvika. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and platform tooling. You will help build and maintain a modern, scalable platform used within the aquaculture domain, contributing to both technical direction and day-to-day engineering.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform is reliable, secure, and built for long-term growth. This is a hands-on engineering role with plenty of room for ownership and influence.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using .NET
*

Build and operate cloud-native solutions on Azure
*

Work with Kubernetes and container-based environments
*

Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance
*

Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams
*

Contribute to platform architecture and technical decision-making
*

Implement best practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and automation

Requirements

*

Strong experience with .NET and backend development
*

Solid understanding of Azure cloud services
*

Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools
*

Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices
*

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
*

Comfortable communicating in English
*

Interest in solving real-world engineering challenges in a meaningful domain
