We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a product-focused technology company in Oslo. This role is ideal for a leader who combines strong people management skills with a solid software engineering background, particularly within Microsoft technologies, .NET, and Azure.

You'll be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers, fostering a high-performance culture, and helping shape the technical direction of modern cloud-based products. Working closely with Product, Architecture, and senior leadership, you'll ensure teams are empowered to deliver high-quality solutions while continuously improving engineering practices.

What You'll Be Doing

* Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of software engineers
* Creating an environment where engineers can thrive, grow, and deliver impactful work
* Driving engineering best practices across development, testing, deployment, and operations
* Partnering with Product Managers and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives
* Supporting technical decision-making and architectural discussions
* Helping teams build and maintain scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
* Driving agile delivery and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Supporting hiring, succession planning, and career development initiatives
* Managing team performance, engagement, and overall engineering effectiveness

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience leading software engineering teams
* Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
* Software engineering background, ideally within the Microsoft stack
* Experience building and delivering cloud-based applications using C# and .NET
* Good understanding of modern Azure services and cloud architecture
* Experience working in Agile development environments
* Passion for building high-performing, collaborative teams
* Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
