Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect (NAV 2018 Migration - Manufacturing)

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect to lead the migration of a manufacturing client's ERP platform from Dynamics NAV 2018 to Business Central. The Architect will assess the current NAV environment, define the target-state solution, lead upgrade and data migration strategies, and provide architectural oversight across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, warehousing, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead NAV 2018 to Business Central assessment, architecture, and migration strategy.
* Conduct fit-gap analysis and evaluate customizations, ISV solutions, and integrations.
* Design scalable BC solutions using AL extensions and Microsoft best practices.
* Define data migration, testing, cutover, security, and deployment strategies.
* Provide manufacturing solution leadership across production, BOMs, routings, MRP, inventory, warehousing, and costing.
* Architect integrations with MES, WMS, EDI, CRM, Power Platform, and Azure services.
* Guide functional and technical teams through implementation and go-live.

Required Qualifications

* 8-10+ years of Dynamics NAV/Business Central experience.
* Proven experience leading NAV 2018 to BC migration projects.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and ERP best practices.
* Expertise in Business Central, AL development, extension architecture, integrations, data migration, and Azure DevOps.
* Ability to engage business stakeholders and translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Preferred

* Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
* Experience with BC SaaS migrations and manufacturing-focused ISV solutions.
* Knowledge of Power BI, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric.
