    Cyber Security Engineer - Microsoft Tech

    A specialist (re)insurance broker are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to take responsibility for the development and operation of the vulnerability and security event management programs, within the Information Security function.

    This is a permanent role with hybrid working arrangements - requiring 2-3 days per week in their Central London office.

    Core responsibilities will include:

    * Daily management and maintenance of vulnerability monitoring systems
    * Daily management and maintenance of security event monitoring
    * Support the Information Security Team in performing security assessments for projects and other initiatives
    * Assess cloud applications and provide assurance that products or services follow the firm's policies
    * Support the maintenance of security in cloud environment (Microsoft 365 and Azure hosted solutions).

    Whilst experience working with Microsoft products would be ideal, we're predominantly looking for someone who is "security led" in their approach as opposed to being "technology led" i.e. being able to apply security principles to any technology stack.

    This is a really unique opportunity for a Security professional to gain cross-domain experience across a number of security domains. You'll be working alongside senior-level stakeholders and be visible to the c-suite, making this a really exciting step-up for the right candidate.

    Requirements :

    * Hands-on experience in vulnerability management, and configurating and tuning vulnerability management tools e.g. Qualys, Microsoft Defender
    * Hands-on experience configurating and tuning SIEM solutions e.g. Microsoft Sentinel
    * Hands-on experience securing and hardening cloud-based services e.g. M365, Azure, Salesforce
    * Experience working withing global standards and best practices such as ISO27001, CIS Controls, Cyber Essentials and OWASP
