As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the company's IT architecture to ensure it is modern, secure, and aligned with business goals. Roles and Responsibilities

* Background from larger organisations, public sector, or consultancy environments is highly desirable

Preferred:

* Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or similar
* Knowledge of standards and compliance frameworks a plus

Enterprise Architect

Hybrid Role - 2 days a week - Edinburgh based

* 18+ years of experience in IT architecture and enterprise infrastructure.

* Expertise in Azure & AWS cloud platforms (certifications preferred).

* Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and identity management.

* Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows server administration.

* Familiarity with backup technologies, disaster recovery, and storage solutions.

* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

* Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CISSP are a plus

* A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field.

Immediate joiners only - no notice period

* Firstly need to concentrate on their data, where it's coming from, what they have, who's using it. Ultimately the plan is to work towards enabling AI.
* They need to be able to understand the data, look at where its coming from and where it's going to then look to optimise it / modernise into newer processes. Migrating from SSIS packages to ADF, SSRS to Power BI etc.
* The data is on prem, in cloud and some other legacy systems.
* Legal background is not necessary

Someone with technical background who is strong on the enterprise level but also able to be technical. May very well need to get in and roll his sleeves up with aspects of engineering etc

We are currently recruiting for a massive consultancy, who are looking for a niche BI/ Data architect looking for a new challenge. The Senior BI Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing innovative business intelligence (BI) solutions with a strong emphasis on leveraging Microsoft Fabric. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data modelling, and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
