Developer - Dynamics 365 Business Central!



My client continues their growth journey and as a result are looking for developers to join their office in Umea.

As a developer, you will work on exciting projects together with successful customers and awesome colleagues who always strive for high quality in what they do! You also get colleagues who always support you and help you to constantly develop yourself and in your role as a consultant.

As a developer, you are technically responsible for the solutions we build. You lead the development work in the various projects with our customers. You are part of a team of consultants who have a close dialogue with our customers, you have a central role in the projects we deliver. You also assist your colleagues in the team with technical know-how in the development parts in the Dynamics projects.

The projects we work on are both new system implementations and continuous development of our customer's existing systems. This also includes the development of integration's and surrounding applications.

For the right person, there is also the opportunity to eventually lead our development work within the company and formulate the guidelines for our continued technical development.

The development takes place in the programming language AL, which is a language specially developed for Dynamics 365 Business Central. The development takes place in the development environment Visual Studio Code, which is a modern and very popular IDE.

Who are we looking for?

You have at least a couple of years of experience in Development. If you have experience from development in business systems, this is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Technical Skills

* 5 years of experience in D365F&O (Finance & Operations, Manufacturing, Trade & Logistics modules)
* Should have good knowledge and hands on experience in modules like Manufacturing (MFG), Inventory management (INV), Production Control, Warehouse Management and Trade & Logistics.
* Should have worked on at least one full live D365 F&O T&L / Manufacturing implementation.
* Ability to map and configure client's business requirements into D365 ( MFG / T&L )
* Project scoping, analysis, and estimation.
* Provide functional knowledge and manage client relationships within context of individual role.
* AM support experience (Team foundation, Jira)

Responsibilities

* Writing functional specifications and functional test scenarios.
* Functional knowledge of ERP, Microsoft D365.
* Mapping business requirements and providing customised IT solutions involving finalisation of product specifications and selection of appropriate techniques.
* Understanding business process, study and analyse work-flow.
* Coordinating with the Technical Team for development / customisation.
* Writing Test Cases.
* Gathering requirements from the clients.
* Functional analysis.
* Preparing Business Process documents. (FRD, FDD, Test cases, Process flow)
* Preparing functional specification for customisation required for implementations
* Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* To manage partners with on-site / offshore delivery model.
