    Azure Data Architect - Databricks - London

    I'm currently working with a global organisation that are going through an awesome period of transformation.

    For this role, they're looking for someone to come in and take ownership of the Data Architecture and strategy. They've recently implemented a Modern Data Platform along side Databricks so the successful applicant is expected to come in and help to further develop this by working closely with the vendors as well as the data team.

    My client are looking for Azure Data / Databricks enthusiasts. They have adopted a hybrid working policy which helps them to ensure that the team are always working collaboratively. Equally, they have a high trust, high performance working policy which is all about getting the work done but also, provided successful applicants to manage their time to their liking.

    Experience sought...

    * Proven experience of leading Data Architecture and engineering initiatives
    * Experience of Azure Data Technologies such as Data Warehousing, Data Factory, Purview, Data Lake and Data bricks
    * Experience in data modelling, database design, data integration and best practices
    * Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure such as Azure

    For this role, they're looking for someone to come in and own the testing / quality function and act as the bridge between development and testing. They don't want the functions to feel as 2 separate entities which is often the case. Rather, they want the development team to be a complete team who work collaboratively to ensure that all development and data capabilities are to the highest standard. You will be using the cutting edge technologies within Azure & the data world such as the MS Azure stack & Databricks.

    This is a salaried position which is paying up to £75,000 as a base salary. My client have adopted a hybrid working policy which helps them to ensure that the team are always working collaboratively.     Experience sought...

    * Experience of Databricks & Azure Data factory
    * Experience of development within a live environment is highly beneficial
    * Further experience of Pyspark & Python is highly advantageous

    Nigel Frank are partnered with a prestigious Law Firm based in Essex, known for its excellence in legal services. I am looking for a versatile technical specialist that can play an important role in their ongoing projects, primarily focusing on the implementation of a new case management system and the replacement of their finance system. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days spent in their office and 2 at home.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Using your API integration experience to exchange data effectively between solutions.
    * Write high-quality code to support project requirements.
    * Integrating applications developed by our client, ensuring seamless functionality within AX workflows.
    * Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to drive project success.
    * Lead small-scale projects independently

    Experience needed for this role

    * Demonstrable API integration experience.
    * Proven track record of working on projects, preferably within a consultancy or similar environment.
    * Proficiency in writing clean, efficient code.
    * Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall (desirable).
    * Background in the legal or professional services industry (desirable).
    * Previous experience running projects independently (desirable).
