Engineering Manager

Location: Copenhagen

A fast-growing SaaS company in the supply chain and shipping logistics space is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of their product squads. The platform combines AI-driven workflow automation, machine learning, and real-time integrations to help logistics teams eliminate manual work, predict delays, and scale operations seamlessly. By replacing fragmented tools with a single intelligent system that automates decisions and accelerates delivery, the company is redefining how businesses move goods globally.



Responsibilities

* Lead and develop a team of 6-8 engineers working on core product features and integrations.
* Run regular 1:1s, set goals, and conduct performance reviews.
* Own the full people management cycle: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and when required, performance exits.
* Define and refine the team's hiring process in partnership with leadership and recruitment.
* Work closely with product managers and designers to scope, prioritize, and deliver.
* Ensure engineering quality, reliability, and smooth deployments (Azure environment).
* Mentor engineers, support career growth, and improve team practices.
* Collaborate with other managers to evolve engineering standards and culture.



Requirements

* 3+ years of engineering management experience, with a strong background in software development.
* Technical knowledge across modern SaaS stacks (C#, .NET, Node.js, SQL, Kubernetes, cloud hosting).
* Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule while building healthy, high-performing teams.
* Experience with hiring processes, interviewing, and making hiring decisions.
* Comfortable handling tough people management situations (including exits).
* Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.



Nice to Have

* Experience leading multi-tenant SaaS development teams.
* Familiarity with large-scale, distributed systems and search/indexing technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch).

We're working with a global financial services leader to find a Head of Data Deployment & Risk Management - a strategic VP-level role that blends service design, change governance, and risk management across a high-volume data platform environment.

This isn't your typical ITIL service manager role. It's about designing a scalable service transition framework that ensures hundreds of monthly changes are delivered safely, efficiently, and with measurable value to internal engineering teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Define and implement standards for how engineering teams deliver change across the data platform.
* Lead the creation of a "how-to" guidebook for data platform changes, ensuring consistency and safety.
