    Lead/Principal Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant - Auckland / Wellington

    About the Role

    We are on the lookout for a Lead or Principal Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to join a dynamic team. You'll be working alongside some of the most experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central professionals in New Zealand, tackling a variety of exciting and challenging projects.

    In this role, your deep technical and functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be put to the test. Highly regarded would be experience from the food & beverage industry, particularly with Aptean F&B, to deliver innovative technology and software solutions for our clients. Your ability to design solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes within set timeframes and budgets will be crucial to your success in this role.

    Skills and Experience

    * Extensive knowledge of all NAV/Business Central modules.
    * Proven experience in configuring, developing, and delivering Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central solutions across all functional areas.
    * Highly regarded expertise in the food & beverage industry, especially with Aptean F&B.
    * Strong experience in pre-sales support, leading project teams, and providing strategic direction.
    * Exceptional relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.
    * Demonstrated success in running workshops.
    * At least three years of experience leading a team of five or more consultants.
    * Proficient in C/AL and AL, with experience in automated testing.
    * Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
    * Preferred experience in warehousing and manufacturing, including scanning solutions.
    * Experience with registered solutions, AppSource apps, and older versions of Dynamics NAV.
    * Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Power Automate is an advantage.
    * Experience with a broad range of ISV solutions, ideally from Tasklet Factory, Insight Works, The Asset Guardian, and Continia.
    * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    * A strong team player with a focus on delivering exceptional customer value.

    Overview: Nigel Frank International in collaboration with our client is seeking a D365 F&O SCM Functional Consultant who has EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) experience in the D365 space for an Auckland-based client.

    This role will be mainly remote with the occasional client-facing visits when required. If you're based outside of Auckland but are willing to travel to Auckland when needed you could also be suitable.

    This role is flexible for contract or permanent employment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Work closely with our clients to understand their supply chain management needs and implement tailored solutions using Dynamics 365 F&O SCM.
    * Develop and deploy D365 EDI solutions that streamline communication and transactions between our clients and their partners.
    * Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the systems and EDI capabilities.
    * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across different departments.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    * Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 F&O SCM Consultant or similar role.
    * Familiarity with D365 EDI standards and integration methods (AS2, EDIFACT, X12).
    * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

    Preferred Skills:

    * Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
    * Experience with ERP systems and their integrations.
    * Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and platforms.
