Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PMO Analyst with advanced Power BI capabilities to join a global digital technology team driving transformation across a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects. This role sits within a central Portfolio Office and supports the delivery of strategic digital initiatives through data-driven insights, automation, and reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with project delivery and business analysis teams to enhance portfolio reporting and dashboard development.
* Design and build Power BI dashboards for operational and executive-level decision-making.
* Maintain and innovate digital tools used for internal project and programme delivery.
* Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow enhancements using tools such as Power Automate and AI.
* Ensure data integrity, quality, and timeliness across portfolio data models.
* Update and manage core datasets to support accurate reporting.
* Liaise with internal Power Platform teams to ensure alignment with governance and standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a PMO or project management role using best practice delivery disciplines, including Agile methodologies.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to work across disparate datasets to generate actionable insights.
* Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard/report development for various audiences.
* Experience with SQL, DAX, and Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
* High-level Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
* Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project Online, Office 365, and Azure.
* Solid foundation in risk assessment, problem resolution, and stakeholder influence.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

* Professional certifications in project, programme, or portfolio management (e.g., Prince2, PMP, MSP, MoP, P3O).
* Strong commercial awareness and financial literacy.
* Degree-level education.
* Experience working in a large global organisation or within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.
* Proven ability to drive behavioural and capability change across teams.
* Experience with Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
* Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation.
* High-quality business and executive-level report writing.

The client is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join its Data & Analytics team. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into clean, reusable datasets, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and build data products, with proficiency throughout the data lifecycle.
* Develop robust data models through close collaboration with business users and the engineering team.
* Partner with senior management, operational leads, and other stakeholders, coaching and supporting a data-driven culture, including KPI definition and reporting frameworks.
* Accountable for data extraction, transforming JSON & XML, utlising high experience within metadata management.
* Collaborate with data engineers to develop data, enrich product design and integrate data for predictive models or machine learning.
* Deliver well-defined, transformed, tested, documented, and code-reviewed datasets for analysis.
* Evaluate and recommend improvements in data flow, influencing and supporting architects and engineers.

Requirements

* At least 8 years' experience in data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, or a similar role

* Strong ability in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and proficiency in data modelling and data product building in Data Bricks.
* Developed Azure cloud experience for data storage and processing, considerations made for alternate cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.
* Substantial programming ability using languages/tools such as R, Python and C++ for data manipulation and scripting
* Solid understanding of relevant data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
