Key Responsibilities

*

Prepare and review financial statements
*

Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
*

Develop and manage the chart of accounts
*

Perform cost accounting and allocate manufacturing overhead in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
*

Oversee payroll processing via ADP Workforce Now, including exports to NAV
*

Manage accounts payable and receivable; follow up on overdue accounts
*

Perform bank reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
*

Maintain fixed asset records
*

Supervise accounting staff and ensure timely completion of tasks
*

Oversee tax compliance and ensure all filings are current
*

Coordinate audits (year-end, sales tax, workers' compensation, property tax)
*

Maintain vendor and customer relationships
*

Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements (sales tax, property tax, city business tax, etc.)
*

Collaborate with external CPA on tax filings and other accounting issues
*

Lead or assist with special projects such as software issues, insurance claims, and cost reduction initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3-5+ years of accounting or finance experience
*

Strong knowledge of GAAP
*

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and ADP Workforce Now preferred

Highly detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
