Job Description

We are currently supporting a well-established public sector organisation in Sweden that is undergoing a major digital transformation. They are looking for a Solution Architect to help shape the future of their digital tools and IT architecture, supporting long-term strategic goals and national-level services.

Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain and evolve a secure, up-to-date, and future-ready IT architecture
*

Design solutions on both conceptual and logical levels to align with organisational goals
*

Guide architectural strategy for upcoming development initiatives and system selections
*

Lead a cross-functional architecture forum involving development, infrastructure, and business representatives
*

Ensure technical solutions are compatible with existing systems, frameworks, and models
*

Act as a strategic advisor to internal IT projects, balancing long-term vision with current delivery
*

Foster collaboration across domains rather than focusing on hands-on implementation

Skills and Qualifications

*

Post-secondary education in systems science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
*

Solid experience in application development with object-oriented languages and architecture
*

Ability to translate business architecture into scalable technical solutions
*

Strong understanding of Microsoft-based infrastructure and Azure cloud services
*

Familiarity with agile working methods and governance
*

Systems-thinking mindset with awareness of technical and organisational interdependencies

Bonus if you have:

Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, DFK-CIA, TOGAF, or CITA-P
