.NET Developer (Backend | Full Stack | Data Engineering)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading Norwegian technology consultancy to hire experienced .NET Developers to work on some of the most complex and business-critical systems in Norway. The role can be backend-focused, full stack, or combine .NET with modern data engineering, depending on your background and interests.

You'll work closely with skilled engineers, domain experts, and customers across energy, oil and gas, finance, public sector, healthcare, and industrial technology, building solutions where performance, security, and uptime are critical.

What you'll be working on

Depending on the project, you may contribute to:

Development of large-scale, high-availability systems using .NET and modern cloud platforms
*

Full stack applications with modern frontend frameworks
*

Data-intensive platforms involving analytics, machine learning, and AI
*

Greenfield systems built from scratch, as well as modernisation of legacy platforms
*

Solutions requiring near-continuous uptime and strong focus on quality and reliability

Projects often combine software engineering with deep domain knowledge, working alongside specialists such as geologists, mathematicians, and data scientists.

What we're looking for

Must-have:

*

2+ years of professional experience as a .NET developer (most successful candidates have 3-6 years)
*

Strong skills in .NET and C#
*

Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, JavaScript)
*

Experience working with Azure
*

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
*

Eligibility to work on security-sensitive projects

Nice-to-have:

Experience with application security (AppSec)
*

Relevant certifications
*

Exposure to data engineering or analytics platforms
