Data Architect

BI Data Architect: Full Stack Microsoft.



We are currently recruiting for a massive consultancy, who are looking for a niche BI/ Data architect looking for a new challenge. The Senior BI Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing innovative business intelligence (BI) solutions with a strong emphasis on leveraging Microsoft Fabric. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data modelling, and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into technical specifications, create effective BI solutions, and drive the utilisation of information management systems.



The ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor's degree in CompSci, IT or a relevant field.

*

Proven architecture experience on live projects.

*

Strong data warehousing skills.

*

Proficiency in BI tools - Power BI and the components of Microsoft Fabric.

*

Experience with SQL and database management.

*

Strong communication and collaboration skills - must be able to translate technical solutions to non-technical/ non BI/data based stakeholders.

*

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.



Preferred Certifications:



* Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)
* Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert



The initial structure is a 12 month fixed-term contract, in which you would be treated and paid as a permanent employee. After the 12 months, you will be offered the choice to become a permanent consultant or continue with a rolling contract.



We are looking for extremely experienced architects for this placement, so 10 years will be required in industry.
