A major organisation within the Norwegian banking sector is seeking an experienced VP Engineering to lead and develop its full‑stack engineering organisation. This position plays a central role in shaping the company's technical direction and ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable and user‑focused digital banking services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and grow multiple engineering teams across .NET, React and Azure.
* Drive architectural decisions and long‑term platform strategy.
* Oversee delivery of complex, mission‑critical banking systems.
* Ensure best practices in security, scalability and engineering standards.
* Collaborate closely with product, design and executive leadership.
* Support continuous improvement, modernisation and cloud adoption.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in engineering leadership at senior or director/VP level.
* Strong technical understanding of .NET, React and Azure environments.
* Background in building or maintaining secure, high‑availability systems.
* Solid experience within banking, financial services or similar regulated domains.
* Fluent Norwegian, both written and spoken.
