Business Systems & Technology Manager - Linden, NJ - $120k

We're looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven Business Systems & Technology Manager to take full ownership of our enterprise systems environment-most notably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central-and build a scalable technology function around it.

This is a high-impact role for someone who wants more than administration-you'll own the roadmap, shape the strategy, and ultimately build and lead a team as the organization grows.

You'll sit at the intersection of operations, technology, and business transformation, partnering across departments to reduce manual work, improve visibility, and drive operational excellence.

What You'll Own

ERP & Systems Leadership (Business Central)

* Act as the internal owner of Dynamics 365 Business Central-strategy, optimization, and long-term scalability.
* Lead enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Partner with external consultants and developers while building internal capability over time.
* Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows.
* Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that drive better decision-making.
* Support integrations across EDI, warehouse systems, and other business platforms.

Technology Operations & Vendor Strategy

* Manage IT vendors, MSPs, and support partners-owning performance and accountability.
* Oversee office and warehouse technology environments.
* Drive system reliability, uptime, and issue resolution.
* Establish SOPs, governance, and documentation standards.
* Support cybersecurity coordination and lifecycle management.

SharePoint & Information Management

* Own SharePoint architecture, access, and governance.
* Standardize document management and improve cross-functional collaboration.
* Create scalable structures that support operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & Transformation

* Evaluate and redesign workflows across operations, supply chain, and customer service.
* Reduce errors, manual processes, and inefficiencies.
* Drive automation and standardization initiatives.
* Partner with leadership on scaling systems and processes to support growth.

Immediate Areas of Impact

* Optimize shipment processing and warehouse execution workflows.
* Reduce order and fulfillment errors (break packs, lot tracking, shipment closure).
* Improve reporting visibility (sales trends, open orders, purchasing insights).
* Enhance EDI and transaction reliability.
* Refine warehouse setup (zoning, bin strategy, SKU structure).
* Improve planning accuracy and downstream execution.

What You Bring

* 5+ years in ERP, business systems, or operations technology roles.
* Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
* Background in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments.
* Proven ability to drive process improvement and system adoption.
* Experience managing vendors and external partners.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI).
