Data Platform Engineer - £60,000-£65,000 - Remote‑First - Microsoft Data & AI (Azure, Fabric, SQL)

You'll Work On

* Designing and delivering modern Azure/Fabric data platforms
* Running client workshops and shaping solution requirements
* Producing high‑quality HLD & LLD documentation
* Building and implementing data pipelines across SQL, cloud databases & APIs
* Contributing to major public sector data transformation projects
* Collaborating with cross‑functional Data & Analytics teams

Travel:
* Mostly remote
* Occasional visits to the South of England office
* Client site attendance only at key project stages

What You will Bring

* 5+ years' experience in data engineering or data platform delivery
* Consultancy or partner‑side experience
* Public sector exposure (highly beneficial)
* Strong Azure Data Services & Microsoft Fabric expertise
* High‑level T‑SQL skills
* Excellent communication in client‑facing environments
* Positive, proactive approach and eagerness to grow
* SC clearance or eligibility (essential)
