The Role
The Technical Engagement Manager will be responsible for the consistent and successful delivery of client engagements from initiation through to completion. Working closely with account teams, the role will combine strategic client relationship management with hands-on oversight of delivery, ensuring projects align with business objectives and exceed expectations.
This is a client-facing position that requires exceptional leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Build strong, trusted relationships with senior executives across assigned accounts

Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion
*
Conduct regular business reviews, articulating measurable value delivered
*
Oversee the delivery of complex data management and BI/DW projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines
*
Lead project teams, managing communication, resources, and performance
*
Provide engagement analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas
*
Partner with finance to manage invoicing, forecasting, and budget tracking
Essential Experience
*
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, IT, or equivalent professional experience
*
Strong experience in financial services/banking
*
Strong experience of BI/DW implementation and enterprise data management
*
Good experience in technical architecture or project management
*
Proven track record of leading teams to deliver complex technology projects
Desirable Skills
*
Knowledge of master data management and data governance
*
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
*
Experience managing teams of 5-20 people
*
Pre-sales or sales exposure
*
Strong presentation and communication skills with senior stakeholders
*
Trusted advisor mindset with the ability to influence at executive level
