Technology Advisor

Position Overview: The Technology Advisor will be a key player in understanding clients' business needs, identifying technological opportunities, and providing strategic guidance for optimising IT infrastructure and digital capabilities. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:

* Engaging with clients to comprehend their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements.
* Conducting comprehensive technology assessments and delivering strategic advice tailored to individual client needs.

Technology Strategy Development:

* Collaborating with clients to develop and implement technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.
* Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and assessing their relevance to client operations.

Solution Architecture:

* Designing and articulating technology solutions that address clients' challenges and enhance efficiency.
* Collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of recommended solutions.

Risk Assessment:

* Identifying potential risks associated with technology implementations and providing effective mitigation strategies.
* Staying informed about cybersecurity threats and advising clients on best practices for secure technology usage.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of technology solutions.

Knowledge Sharing:

* Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
* Sharing knowledge and insights with team members, contributing to the continuous learning culture of the organisation.

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology Management).
* Proven experience as a Technology Advisor, IT Consultant, or in a similar role.
* A strong understanding of a wide range of technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and emerging tech trends.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the business landscape in Norway and an understanding of regional technology trends.
* Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
