A well-established food manufacturing organization is looking for a Senior Accountant with experience on Business Central or NAV ERP systems. This position would involve not only the improvement of the organization's accounting and financial reporting processes, but also include helping to support and train other users in the accounting department following a recent upgrade to Business Central.

Your New Role will be focusing on operational accounting processes, including A/P & A/R reporting, managing inventory levels, and tracking a large number of sales invoices to ensure financial accuracy. You will also be one of the main internal resources focused on the support, training, troubleshooting, and data management within their Business Central ERP system.

Responsibilities:

* Support the Financial Controller on day-to-day accounting tasks
* Lead Accounts Payable efforts, including oversight of the payment journal, check printing, ACH positive pay
* Fixed Asset reporting (additions, disposals, monthly depreciation, etc.)
* Sales tax applications and monthly reconciliation of sales tax returns
* Overseeing payroll
* Balance sheet account analysis
* Audit support
* Running 1099s
* Providing ERP support and training to users within the finance/accounting team

Requirements:

* 5+ years of accounting & finance management experience
* Manufacturing experience, particularly a deep knowledge of inventory accounting
* Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics NAV or D365 Business Central experience is a big plus
* Knowledge of GAAP principles
* Heavy experience with Accounts Payable processes
* Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related studies
* Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
