Job Description

* AWS Stack, data being landed in S3, Lambda triggers, Data Quality, data written back out to AWS S3(Parquet Formats), Snowflake for dimensional model.
* Design and build the data pipelines, work with someone around understanding data transformation, this is supported by BA's, building out the data pipelines, moving into layers in the data architecture (Medallion architecture).

Requirements

* 5 plus year's experience with AWS
* 5-8 years overall exposure to Data
* Technical Lead experience
* Proficient in Snowflake, S3, Lambda Triggers

Hybrid London 1-2 days a week

£500-600 (Outside IR35)

The reason they're hiring now, they have a client that is all on a legacy system, on-prem platform, and they want to build out their AWS platform. They want to do a High-level architecture design to take to the low-level design. The client operates in the insurance domain (Commercial Finance).

Databricks Trainer - Contract

4 week course

Class of 10

Databricks focus

Must have experience training with the following:

* Datastorage and Serialisation
* Databricks Developer
* Apache Spaark
* Airflow
* DBT basics

£750 Per Day Outside IR35

Fully Remote

Start date: end of August/1st September 2025

Content to be delivered over 4 weeks consisting of taking some instructor responsibility and self lead responsibility.

* Firstly need to concentrate on their data, where it's coming from, what they have, who's using it. Ultimately the plan is to work towards enabling AI.
* They need to be able to understand the data, look at where its coming from and where it's going to then look to optimise it / modernise into newer processes. Migrating from SSIS packages to ADF, SSRS to Power BI etc.
* The data is on prem, in cloud and some other legacy systems.
* Legal background is not necessary

Someone with technical background who is strong on the enterprise level but also able to be technical. May very well need to get in and roll his sleeves up with aspects of engineering etc



The contract will be likely 12 months long and it is INSIDE IR35

2X Data Scientist Contract

Core skills: Python ideal, R and SQL

Role 1: Requires: PowerBi, Athena skills
Role 2: Oracle DB, C++, PL/SQL - ideally they need to be able to work their way around Oracle.



Typical outputs that we would expect of these roles are as follows:

* help the project team measure and assess service performance outcomes (for example, what good looks like and how it will be measured)
* applying analysis techniques to relevant contexts
* helping to define and create performance measurements with the wider team, including identifying reporting requirements, advising on tooling, implementation and validation of tools to deliver against these requirements
* present analysis and visualisations in clear ways to both specialist and non-specialist audiences, with support
* give tactical recommendations based on analysis and insight to inform decision making

D365FO Systems Accountant - North Wales - £70K

Nigel Frank are working exclusively with an retail company, with a fantastic opportunity for a driven, skilled systems accountant to join a flexible project team at a location in North Wales for a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months.

The main focus of this role is to support a major financial systems transition from one ERP platform to another. This position will provide valuable exposure across departments, offering insights, support, and detailed analysis. You will collaborate closely with the finance department to understand the financial implications of system changes and assist with coordinating usability testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Support the transfer of financial data between legacy and new systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
* Participate in validation and testing of the new financial platform, documenting any issues found.
* Assist with managing the change process, working with different teams to pinpoint improvement areas.
* Deliver training and assistance to finance colleagues on the new system, including preparing guides and leading training sessions.

* Skilled in scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions, often using AWS services like S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue, and Kinesis.
