    SQL DBA - Azure - Fully remote - £55K

    Client in financial services looking to add to their talented database team with a fully remote DBA.

    Although mainly on premise support, the company are making the move into the cloud space which will likely be a large proportion of the role moving forward.

    I'm looking for a DBA with strong experience in SQL Server (up to 2019), Powershell as well as performing back ups, restores, disaster recovery etc.

    Lead Azure Data Engineer

    A fashion retailer are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to lead on the development of a brand-new data platform on Azure, whilst managing a small Data Engineering team.

    Given they are relatively early-on in their data journey, this is a really unique opportunity to make a real impact on their technical roadmap, and help introduce them to cutting-edge Azure technologies.

    This is a hybrid role, and will require you to come into their office outside of Sunderland 2-3 days per week.

    This role would be well-suited to an experienced Data Engineer or Developer who is looking to step up into a Management role, or a current Data Manager who is ready for a new and exciting challenge!

    Requirements:

    * Significant experience in Data Engineer or Business Intelligence development roles
    * Strong SQL development experience
    * Strong ETL experience
    * An understanding of data architecture concepts such as Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Marts etc.
    * Experience with Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse etc.
    * Any experience with Dynamics 365 would be beneficial
    * Either informal mentoring or formal leadership experience
    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    Benefits:

    * Salary up to £90,000 depending on experience

    Power BI Developer

    I'm looking for an experienced Power BI professional to join an online retail company in the North East of England - this is a hybrid role, where you'll spend 2 days a week in their Cramlington office with the wider Data team.

    Reporting into the Head of Data, you will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of a suite of interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, aimed at delivering actionable insight to a range of business stakeholders to improve commercial decision-making, identify new opportunities, and fuel future growth.

    They're also currently using Google Analytics, so any previous experience with this would be highly desirable, though not essential, as you'll also take responsibility for the effective use Google Analytics, including tag management and data integrity.

    As such, we're looking for a Power BI enthusiast who also has strong commercial awareness, and who is keen to really help this business level-up and get maximum value from their data.

    Requirements:

    * Power BI - strong end-to-end Power BI development experience
    * DAX & Power Query - good experience for data manipulation and transformation
    * SQL - good experience for querying and analysis
    * Google Analytics - any experience with this, preferably tag management, would be highly desirable but not essential
    * Python - this is desirable, for data analysis and scripting, but not essential
    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
