    Enterprise Architect - Hybrid - South East of England

    Location: Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich or Norwich



    A leader of their relative industry is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive its digital transformation agenda.     About the Role:

    As Enterprise Architect, you'll be instrumental in designing and delivering scalable, modern solutions that enhance client and colleague experiences. You'll bring a strong background in enterprise or solutions architecture, ideally within professional services.     Responsibilities:

    Requirements:

    * A user-centric mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes

    Desirable:

    * Experience with legal tech platforms (PMS, DMS, workflow automation)
    * Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, BI tools, and data analytics
    * Familiarity with microservices, API management, and platform engineering
    * Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect)

    Are you a visionary Enterprise Architect ready to shape the future of digital transformation in a leading professional services firm?

    The Role:

    We're working with a prestigious professional services firm undergoing a major technology evolution. They're seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative, scalable solutions that modernise legacy systems, reduce technical debt, and empower their employees to deliver world-class services.

    You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, external clients, technical teams, and third-party suppliers to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive competitive advantage. It's broad role, spanning software development, infrastructure and Business Intelligence / Data, so we're looking for a blend of experience across these areas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Architect and implement modern, cloud-first solutions (Azure) across internal and client-facing platforms.
    * Lead the firm's technology strategy, aligning architecture with long-term business goals.
    * Enable the business to become data-driven through the design and delivery of BI and data solutions
    * Champion innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
    * Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration and user-centric design.

    Working Arrangements:

    * This is a hybrid role, where you'll work from any of the firm's regional offices 3 days per week (there is one in Chelmsford), with regular travel to Ipswich to collaborate with key stakeholders including the CTO (expenses-paid).

    What We're Looking For:

    * Proven experience as an Enterprise or Solutions Architect in a digital/professional services environment.
    * Strong background in software engineering, cloud architecture (Azure), data integration, and DevSecOps.
    * Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, BI and data tools, and event-driven architectures.
    * Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
    * Experience in agile, product-led teams and a passion for user experience.
    * Certifications such as TOGAF or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect are desirable.
    * Bonus: Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in regulated environments.

They will be responsible for leading the team writing clean, accessible code that is open by default and easy for others to reuse, developing software which meets user needs and creates meaningful interactions and relationships with users.

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience



    * Educated to Degree Level or equivalent by experience in a relevant subject.
    * Hold relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-100: Power Platform App Maker, PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant, PL-400: Power Platform Developer, PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect.
    * Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop and DevOps.
    * Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Azure Services
    * Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) in Power Platform
    * Knowledge of JSON, Power Fx, JavaScript, HTML and SQL.
