Head of Data - Manchester - Hybrid

Are you ready to shape the future of data in retail?

We're working exclusively with a leading name in the retail sector who are investing heavily in their data capabilities. As part of this transformation, they're hiring their first-ever Head of Data - a pivotal role that will define and drive the data strategy across the business.

The Role:

This is a brand-new leadership position, reporting directly into the C-suite. You'll be responsible for building and leading a small but growing team of data professionals, while also being hands-on in shaping the data architecture and strategy.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to unlock the power of data, enabling smarter decision-making and driving innovation.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Define and execute the company's data strategy from the ground up
* Lead and grow a high-performing data team
* Oversee the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed data-driven thinking across the organisation
* Ensure data governance, quality, and security best practices are in place

* Utilising the AWS tech stack including S3, Lambda, Redshift, Airflow
* Preferably some experience with Snowflake although this is not essential

This is a hands-on leadership role - ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and technical delivery.

D365 CE Functional Consultant (Mid/Senior Level)

Established MS Partner with a broad and growing project pipeline covering multiple industries, this role allows the successful candidate to further their career, enhance their skill-set and play a key role in various D365 CE & Power Platform Projects!

You will be responsible for delivering effective customer-focused solutions and support to a wide-range of clients using Dynamics 365 CE, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with like-minded, skilled colleagues and work with emerging technologies.

Role & Responsibilities

* Engage with internal/external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system configurations and customisation's.
* Design and configure D365 CE to meet client needs.
* Create and maintain documentation.
* Provide training and support.

Skills & Qualifications

* 5+ years experience working with Dynamics CRM.
* Experience working with Sales/Customer Service Modules
* Excellent knowledge of Power Platform, Azure and other MS Products.
* Strong communication skills.

We're working with a global insurance company that's redefining the industry through technology. As a key end user of AWS, they're leveraging cloud-native solutions and advanced analytics to transform how they serve millions of customers.

They're looking for Data Engineers who are passionate about building scalable data platforms and want to be part of a forward-thinking team. You'll work on modern data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and real-time analytics projects that directly impact business outcomes.

As an AWS Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in building and maintaining our cloud-based data infrastructure. You'll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions on the AWS platform.

The client operates with a hybrid working model, with two days per week in their Manchester office.



Responsibilities:

-Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.

-Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data quality and compliance.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

-Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements:

-3+ years of experience as a data engineer.

-Strong proficiency in AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.

-Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

-Proficiency in SQL and Python.
