With over 100 years experience in transportation, construction, operations and maintenance, you will be joining a growing team who are making the first moves towards digitalisation in a very traditional industry

The platform you help build, and subsequent features & insights available, have the ability to impact how an entire industry operates

All teams across the business are committed to this goal, and there has been a lot of engagement as it makes processes easier for stakeholders and customers alike

Longer-term this digital transformation will expand into adding data science / ML capabilities into the team, and allow for automated decision making

You will initially be joining a small but growing internal data team, where you can have the flexibility to work cross functionally and to explore & grow with a variety of day-to-day tasks.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

* Helping to build the data platform on Azure
* Orchestrating data from various sources - cleaning, transformation and making it useful to users
* Engineering and implementing scalable systems and data pipelines
* Communicating with stakeholders across the business to understand processes, value drivers, and capture business requirements

We are looking for you to have the following skills & experiences:

* 2+ years' experience in a similar role
* Experience working on Cloud (preference for Azure)
* Experience building ETL pipelines - orchestrating raw data from different systems
* Experience with Big Data technologies is advantageous

It is a great chance to help take the lead within your area of expertise. You will have the ability to influence the direction of an industry which is not data-driven yet - we are making the first move and hope you will help us have a great impact!
