This is a strong opportunity to join a well‑established London Market insurance organisation that's actively investing in data, reporting and platform transformation in underwriting, pricing, claims and reinsurance.

You'll sit at the heart of the business, working on meaningful change programmes. The role gives you real visibility, influence, and the opportunity to shape how insurance data is understood, governed and used across a regulated environment.

You will work with

* London Market Underwriters, Pricing, Claims, Finance, and Operations teams

What you'll be doing

* Lead end‑to‑end business and data analysis across London Market domains, including syndicates, delegated authority, reinsurance, and the full policy lifecycle.
* Use SQL to perform hands‑on data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and data quality assessments.
* Own data mapping activities, including source‑to‑target mappings, business rules, transformation logic, lineage, and traceability.
* Review existing reports, extracts, and data flows to identify optimisation and reuse opportunities.
* Translate business needs into clear data and system requirements, including BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Support agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and close collaboration with delivery teams.
* Act as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key experience we're looking for

* Proven experience in London Market / Lloyd's insurance.
* Strong understanding of syndicates, delegated authority / bordereaux, reinsurance & ceded reinsurance and the full policy lifecycle.
* Excellent SQL skills for data analysis, profiling, validation and reconciliation.
* Hands‑on experience with data profiling, data quality management and source‑to‑target data mapping, including business rules and transformation logic.
* Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
