Type: Full-Time | $110K - $115K Base Salary

Position Summary

We're seeking a versatile Business Systems & Financial Analyst to join our high-growth, PE-backed team. This newly created role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations-ideal for someone who can own both the numbers and the systems behind them.

You'll partner across finance, accounting, and IT teams to improve reporting, optimize ERP processes (Navision / D365 Business Central), automate workflows, and deliver business intelligence insights that directly impact strategic decisions. You should feel equally at home diving into journal entries as you are creating Power BI dashboards or supporting an ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and automate financial and operational dashboards using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Jet Reports
*

Support ERP system administration and enhancements, including customizations, data integrations, and process automations in Business Central/Navision
*

Lead or assist with FP&A efforts, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting
*

Partner with accounting team to support month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation processes
*

Improve data quality and process efficiency across finance systems and reporting pipelines
*

Translate business needs into technical requirements for finance and system improvements
*

Provide training and documentation for finance users on systems and reporting tools
*

Support cross-functional teams in optimizing tools like Concur, Shopify, Avalara, and SQL-based reporting solutions

Qualifications

*

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Information Systems
*

3-6 years of blended experience across finance/accounting and business systems/ERP
*

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting
*

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central (required)
*

Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI, Jet Reports, SQL, or Power Query
*

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, modeling)
*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
*

Bonus points for experience with Shopify, Concur, Avalara, or other operational platforms
