DevOps Engineer, Oslo

An established product-focused technology company is looking to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team in Oslo.

This is a key hire, replacing a long-standing team member, and offers the chance to take ownership of a mature, widely used platform with a large international user base.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a central role in building, scaling, and maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing systems. Working closely with developers and cross-functional teams, they will help drive automation, improve deployment processes, and ensure strong operational performance across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
* Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
* Deploy and manage containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability
* Collaborate closely with developers to streamline workflows
* Monitor systems and respond to incidents where required
* Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices

Requirements

* 4+ years' experience in a DevOps or similar role
* Strong experience with CI/CD and automation
* Hands-on cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
* Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
* Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
* Good understanding of systems, networking, and security best practices
