Domain Architect - Customer Engagement Platform

Location: Gothenburg (Hybrid)

A leading global organisation within logistics and transformation is currently seeking an experienced Domain Architect, Customer Engagement Platform to play a pivotal role in shaping its digital future.

The organisation is undergoing a major transformation programme and requires a senior architect to define, guide, and deliver critical customer engagement capabilities across the enterprise.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will take ownership of the technical roadmap, architecture, and solution design for a key transformation workstream focused on customer engagement.

Working within a high-performing digital delivery function, this individual will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and validate the architecture strategy, roadmap, and solution design aligned to business objectives and enterprise guidelines
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on technical feasibility, effort, and solution trade-offs
* Lead and coordinate cross-functional technical teams including developers, architects, and data specialists
* Oversee system integration and data migration, ensuring compliance with security and quality standards
* Identify and mitigate technical risks across performance, security, and vendor dependencies
* Support the build-out of the technical organisation, including hiring, mentoring, and capability development
* Champion modern engineering practices, agile methodologies, and a strong digital culture

Required Experience

The client is looking for a strong architectural leader with experience across customer engagement platforms and enterprise environments.

Key experience includes:

* Proven track record defining technical architectures, roadmaps, and scalable solution designs
* Strong experience across CRM and CPQ platforms (ideally SaaS/COTS environments)
* Deep understanding of integration patterns, data migration, and enterprise data architecture
* Knowledge of modern architectural principles such as API-first, microservices, serverless, and DevSecOps
* Experience aligning technology solutions to business outcomes and transformation goals
* Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability across both business and IT
