Data Quality Analyst - London (Hybrid) - Azure, Databricks, SQL, Power BI - Up to £55,000

This is an opportunity to join a global organisation that takes data quality seriously and sees it as essential to how the business operates and reports. The organisation continues to invest in its data platforms and governance, with a clear focus on reliability, consistency and long‑term improvement.

You'll be part of a Global Data Team where quality matters, collaboration is encouraged, and people are trusted to take ownership. If you enjoy getting into the detail of data, working closely with both business and technical teams and helping prevent issues before they reach production, this role will suit you well.

The Role

As a Data Quality Analyst, you'll focus on ensuring data is accurate, consistent and dependable across data products, reporting and migration activity. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business and data teams to identify risks early, understand root causes and help raise overall data quality standards.

This role sits between the business and engineering teams, combining hands‑on analysis with stakeholder engagement, governance and assurance.

What You'll Be Doing

* Working with business stakeholders and data teams to identify data quality risks early
* Performing hands‑on data discovery, profiling and validation at source
* Investigating root causes of data issues and supporting corrective actions
* Supporting data migrations through mapping validation, reconciliations and quality checks
* Raising and tracking data defects through trial runs and live cutovers
* Translating business needs into clear data quality rules and requirements
* Working with engineers to implement quality controls, monitoring and alerts
* Maintaining data quality metrics, KPIs and supporting governance standards

What We're Looking For

* Experience in a Data Quality Analyst, Data Assurance or similar role
* Strong hands‑on skills with SQL, Python or similar for data analysis and validation
* Experience working with Databricks, Delta tables and data quality frameworks
* Background in data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation and migration support
* Good understanding of data pipelines and engineering best practices
* Experience creating Power BI dashboards and quality metrics
* Knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory requirements
* Comfortable working across business and technical teams
* Able to deal with changing requirements and ambiguous data challenges

Azure or data‑related certifications are beneficial but not essential. A degree is welcomed but equivalent experience is equally valued.

Benefits

* Discretionary annual bonus
* 8% employer pension contribution
* 25 days annual leave plus holiday purchase options
* Competitive parental leave
* Flexible benefits (gym discounts, cycle to work, season ticket loans)
* Strong commitment to hybrid and flexible working
* Ongoing learning and development through an internal academy
